We have been trying out getting a new dog. So far so good! Saturday Jason surprised Lily with Holly. Holly is 2-3 years old and she is a poodle. Hopefully Lily won't have allergy issues with her. Lily woke up with a lil runny nose today so we aren't sure. That could just be a cold. We will give it a few days. We are really enjoying Holly. She is very easy going. She likes to lay around and relax. She loves car rides. She is very active on walks. Lily has nick named her Dixie. I have no clue why.
I just had to throw in a picture of Valerie in the backyard. She really loves just walking along the play stuff.

Valerie is getting lots of kisses from Holly, but Holly doesn't do it too much. So that is good! Hopefully she will be the perfect fit for our family.

Oh and it is only 5 more weeks until Lily's 4th birthday. And ofcoarse, we are doing a puppy dog themed party!

We are family!

I think one of the best things about the holidays is having time with family. I just love having big family dinners and spending time playing cards and watching all of the kids play. I love watching the guys playing baseball or football or basketball together. I love talking with my sister. I love watching everyone pass Valerie around. Family is great so I have a bunch of pics. The first one is of my cool nephews, Jordan (10) and Dylan (5). Here comes my sister with her boys. I don't think you can tell in this picture, but Jordan looks so much like his mom. She really looked just like that at that age, except she had longer hair. lol. Okay maybe a little exagerated, but he does look like his mom.
Here comes the cousins all together. Lily and Dylan are absolute great friends. It is so fun to watch them run all over the place together and yes, they do get into trouble together.

I love that they get to grow up super close. Can you tell that they love Baby Val? :)

Here is the whole wonderful Wilson family.

Oh here is my sweet lil family. I am blessed!

My mom has beautiful flowers in her backyard and so I had to put Valerie out there and take some pics. I love my baby girl. She is so sweet and precious!

Here is more of Valerie. It was hard to get her to stop looking at the flowers and to look at me. lol.

I stopped Lily from running with Dylan just long enough to get a picture of the girls together in a spring picture!

I also convinced my pretty lil girl to take one by herself. I love this lil shirt of hers. I can't wait to put her in more spring clothes. Please warm up weather!

Easter Express

We love Easter. A fun thing to do is ofcourse painting eggs. Here Lily is. She was so good and got no paint on her hands until she laid her arm down and it got paint all over it. Oh well. It will come off soon. :)

Valerie got to dress up as a little Chick to go to the Easter Express at James River Assembly. She looked so cute and she got lots of compliments for her costume.
Lily loved the bunny here. She just has so so much fun at these things and was such a good girl with listening for when we needed to go to the next area.

Lily loved getting eggs. The funny thing is that I wasn't paying attention and when she came over, I saw that she had collected 10 PINK eggs. She did not want any other colors. lol.

Valerie had a blast too. She is very into fine motor activities and she loves putting things in and out of bags so this was great for her!!!

The church also gave us free donuts and juice drinks. Yummy! It was a good break!

Valerie loved seeing the animals and petting them.

Lily loved the animals too.

Valerie the chick with the other chicks!

Easter is so much fun and we still have church tomorrow and time with my family!!! I'm sure that we will hunt for eggs again there!!

The Easter Bunny

Sunday was a fun day! We met up with Grandpa Peters at the Battlefield Mall. We got to have Chinese and Lily had Auntie Anne's pretzels. Grandpa then treated us to ice cream. We also got to go see the Easter bunny. I can't say that I was that impressed with how he looked, but it is always fun to have these experiences. Lily was very happy to see and talk to the Easter bunny. When I sat Valerie down on his lap. She cried. I think that is pretty much what one year olds do. So I picked her up and we decided to try having Lily hold Valerie. Valerie was just fine with that. She loves her big sister. So Lily saved the day and the picture. Lily even did it without complaining even though I am sure it didn't thrill her. Valerie smiled in the last picture, but Lily blinked so that is how we picked this picture of the girls with the Easter bunny.

Hospitals

Well after a fun day with our new dog. Lily woke up in the middle of the night and she was coughing and wheezing and struggling to breath. I took her to the hospital and by the time we arrived there the fresh air had already helped her tremendously, but the staff at the hospital could tell that she was having some breathing problems. We waited for an hour to be seen and all they really did was check her oxygen level. They did say that she looked like she had an allergic reaction to either the dog or she could just have some bacterial infection. Well we waited another hour to actually see the doctor and actually he never made it to us. I left at 2:30 in the morning to take Lily home. She had no reactions after that, but you could tell that she seemed have flair ups around the dog. So that meant that doggie needed to be returned. I was very sad. We all were, but Lily comes first. Lily is already feeling all better.

Our new family member!

Our exciting news of the moment....I have a new baby!!!!!!!! Okay so she looks a little different from her sisters, but I am still so excited that we have her. We have named her Chloe Peters! Chloe is a chiweenie!!! Her other mommy was a 7 lb Dachshund (weener dog) and her daddy was a 2 lb chihuahua. She was born on 2-5-09 so her b-day is just one day after Valerie's b-day!
The girls both fell in love with her immediately. Who wouldn't though? She plays outside with them and then cuddles on the couch with us.

Lily loves having a puppy. We had planned on giving her a puppy for her b-day, but when we saw Chloe..we just fell in love.

Valerie loves puppy kisses. You can see that she is ready and waiting for a good smooch!

You can also see that Chloe is smitten with Valerie. I think they will be close friends!

Please welcome the newest member of our family and hopefully everyone will be able to meet her soon!
