Lily's 4th b-day and Valerie walking

Lily has been having a great 4th birthday week so far. On Monday, we started the fun off by having Grandma and Grandpa Peters up. They brought Lily some fun presents. She got a Cinderella horse and Thumbelina labtop. These gifts have been true hits. She has played with them each day, especially in the car. Uncle Adam and Aunt Michelle sent a present. It was a bunch of paints and a paint pad. Lily has had so much fun and already made three pictures. Then we went for pizza and games at Incredible Pizza. The girls had so much fun with their grandparents.

The next bit of fun was today. Lily had her birthday party. It was puppy dog themed. So her friends and her dressed up as puppies with dog collars and dog ears. Lily was a dalmation! Here is Lily with Hailey. Here are two more of Lily's friends, Jack and JT.
My friend Jessica made Lily the cutest puppy dog cake. It almost was too cute to eat....but it was delicious as well. All of the kids loved it!

Notice the cute nose. We got there and it had a nose, but before I went to cut the cake, I noticed that someone snatched the nose away.

Lily loved her cake. She was even petting it. Doesn't it look like a real dog!

Oh before the cake, we had dog bone sandwiches. Those were a huge hit! Valerie really loved those!

So my friends that came were Amanda, Lisa, Kelly, Tara, and Melody and Jessica who aren't in this picture. Lily had her friends JT, Kayleigh, Jack, Boston, Bristol, Drew, Abby, Hailey, Caleb, Jaylen, and Caleb.

Lily loved all of her presents: two neat bubble blowers, sidewalk chalk, my little pony books, hair clips, lots of activity books and a paper doll house!

Valerie got to play with her friend Caleb. He is just one month older than her and so cute. He was trying to touch her little spots on her face.

Lily playing with her bubble blowers outside after the party.

So on to Valerie for a moment. She started taking her first steps last Friday the 22nd. By Sunday, she was walking across the room. By today, she was even walking on the uneven surfaces outside. She is really getting good. She was my late bloomer, but I am so proud of her. She is getting so big!

Lily the almost 4 year old

Only 11 days until my little girl turns 4! Wow has it flown by. So in honor of Lily, I just wanted to share a little of what she is up to these days.
First, I will start by talking about her t-ball team. They have had three practices and one game so far. They are the blue team and have matching cute shirts. It is a boy/girl team for 3 and 4 year olds. Lily's first game was adorable. She was the second child up to bat. She hit the ball and did great running to first. She stayed on the base until she was told to run to second base. Then she started walking away and stated to the whole crowd, "I have to go pee!" So ofcourse we ran to the bathroom and came back in time for the outfield. Jason went out there with her for her first time and she mainly played with the rocks and looked confused. :)

Her second time up to bat was awesome. She hit the ball and made it to first. Then she ran each time a child batted and she made it to home base. So exciting! Lily did better with her second time in the infield. She now understood that she was suppose to try to catch the ball. The funny part was that each time she didn't catch it, she came moping sadly too me on the other side of the fence and I would send her back out. The third time that she didn't catch the ball, she cried and we had to leave before the team high fives. She had a blast and is ready for her next game!
So Lily is having her birthday party at the park this year and because she loves dogs, we are throwing her a Dalmation/Puppy Party. She is so excited! We have a lot of fun stuff planned for it. Here are her invites that my wonderful friend, Lisa made. Isn't Lily the cutest puppy ever!!!!!

Since we are talking about puppies, Lily and I went shopping and bought Holly a new shirt. It has the Ifle Tower on it. Doesn't she look pretty!

Also Daddy has been home more lately, which Lily is loving! So I have been leaving them projects to work on. Daddy and her had so much fun! Here is one project. They made an Easter egg and then it opened up and revieled a bunny face!

Doesn't the bunny face look so cute~ Lily is a great artist~I am so proud of her and she is so proud of herself. I love that!

My almost 4 year old is such a sweet girl! I love watching her grow up and get to participate in so many fun things!

My addiction

I am 100% addicted to getting professional pictures of my girls done. I just know how quickly they grow and change and I want to capture every moment of their childhood so that I can constantly look back at those pretty little faces. All of these pictures were done by the amazing Teresa. You can check out her pictures at http://www.artfromtheheartphotography.com/ and http://www.artfromtheheartphotography.com/blog/

I really wanted some pictures of the girls together. My friend Jen has her own boutique (Jen's Bowtique) and she made these cute "Big sister, Little sister" shirts and matching bows. I just love the girls in them. I love what sweet sisters they are. I am so lucky to have such sweet little girls!

Valerie is just known for her happy personality. I love her smile. Just in the past two months, Valerie has gotten 3 more teeth. She now has 6 teeth!
We took these pictures at Evangel University because they always have beautiful tulips. I was afraid that we were going to miss them, but they were still in bloom. Yay!

Lily was also too beautiful for words. She doesn't always mind very well when we are outside for a photo shoot, but luckly you can't tell that from the pictures. lol.

This one is my favorite. I love that Lily's hair holds curl so well and she just looks so pretty.

So can't you all tell why I am addicted to photos? Please, please leave me comments so that I keep this blog going. lol.
